Payment Information:
Online payments: Processed securely through Stripe.
In-person payments: Processed using our physical, mobile EFTPOS terminal.
How We Process Payments & Your Card Data
We take payment security seriously and do not store or keep raw credit card or financial account numbers on our local systems:
Stripe (Online): When you pay via our website or an invoice link, your payment details are collected directly by Stripe. Stripe manages this data under its own secure, PCI-compliant infrastructure.
Mobile EFTPOS (In-person): When you swipe, insert, or tap your card on our mobile EFTPOS machine, the transaction data is transmitted securely through our NZ-compliant payment network provider. We do not store your card details on the device.
Purpose and Use of Your Data
We collect and use your personal and health data strictly to:
Assess your nutritional needs and build personalised health plans.
Communicate with you regarding consultations, bookings, and follow-ups.
Process financial transactions safely.
Send you health insights or business updates, which you can opt out of at any time.

Your information is stored securely using password-protected, encrypted systems. Some of our cloud-based tools (such as email or appointment software) may store data on servers located overseas. We ensure these third parties maintain privacy safeguards comparable to New Zealand standards.

Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to request a copy of any personal or health information we hold about you. You also have the right to ask us to correct that information if you believe it is inaccurate.

Introduction & Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Restore & Ritual Nutrition ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing our website, purchasing our nutrition packages, booking a consultation, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Medical & Health Disclaimer
Educational Purpose Only: All information, meal plans, recipes, and advice provided by Restore & Ritual Nutrition are for educational, nutritional, and lifestyle purposes only.
Not Medical Advice: We are nutrition professionals, not medical doctors or psychologists. Our services do not substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Consult Your Doctor: You should always consult your General Practitioner (GP) or qualified medical professional before starting any new dietary, exercise, or supplement regimen, especially if you have an existing medical condition, are pregnant, or take medication.
Assumption of Risk: By choosing to implement any dietary changes or lifestyle advice we provide, you acknowledge that you do so voluntarily and at your own risk.
Services, Bookings, and Cancellations
Consultations: Appointments can be booked through our website or via direct communication.
Cancellation Policy: We require at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations or booking changes. If you cancel within this window or fail to attend, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of 25% of the consultation fee.
Service Delivery: We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reasonable professional cause.
Fees and Payment Terms
Pricing: All prices listed on our website or invoices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST. We reserve the right to change prices at any time.
Payment Methods:
Online payments are processed securely through Stripe.
In-person payments must be settled at the time of your appointment via our mobile EFTPOS machine.
Late Payments: Nutrition plans or consultation reports will not be released until full payment has been successfully processed.
Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA)
If you are acquiring our services for personal, domestic, or household use, nothing in these Terms is intended to limit or exclude your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. We promise to provide our services with reasonable care and professional skill.
Intellectual Property
All content provided to you—including customised meal plans, guides, eBooks, recipes, graphics, and website text—is the intellectual property of Restore & Ritual Nutrition. You are granted a single-user license to use these materials for personal use. You must not copy, share, resell, or distribute our materials to third parties without our express written consent.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Restore & Ritual Nutrition will not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss, injury, or damage arising from your use of our website, services, or reliance on our nutritional advice.
